Menjelang akhir tahun 2020 Samsung mengumumkan kehadiran smartphone terbaru mereka Galaxy A12 di Indonesia pada Kamis (23/12/2020). Smartphone ini memiliki 4 kamera dengan kapasitas baterai 5.000 mAh plus penyimpanan 128GB dan smartphone ini dibanderol dengan harga mulai dari Rp 2 jutaan.
Samsung Galaxy A12 menghadirkan smartphone dengan display layar seluas 6,5 inci dengan panel IPS beresolusi HD+. dibagian atas layar terdapat kamera depan (selfie) dengan resolusi 8MP (F2.2) berbentuk poni (notch).
Pada bagian belakang ponsel ini dibekali Quad - camera yang memiliki resolusi utama 48MP (F2.0), kamera ultra-wide 5MP (F2.2), kamera auto focus 2MP (F2.4) dan kamera macro 2MP (F2.4).
Untuk chipsetnya sendiri ponsel ini mengandalkan Media Tek Helio P35 (12nm) yang dipadukan dengan sistem operasi Android 10 serta RAM sebesar 3GB, 4GB, 6GB dan storage sebesar 32GB, 64GB, 128GB. selain itu penyimpanan pada ponsel ini masih bisa ditambahkan hingga 1 TB menggunakan microSD.
Ponsel ini memiliki kapasitas baterai jumbo sebesar 5.000 mAh yang support fitur fast charging 15W. Selain itu ponsel ini juga memiliki fitur lain seperti sensor sidik jari (fingerprint), Bluetooth v5.0 dan masih banyak lagi.
